  • Do you provide packaging materials?

  • What is the maximum size and weight that I can send per shipment?
The size is determined by the x-ray scanner used at the customs. The maximum sized shipment a scanner can take is 100cm x 80 cm so aim to keep your shipments below these dimensions and don't exceed 30kg per box.  If you have larger items contact your local customer service representative and they will be able to make special alternative arrangements for you.
  • Can I arrange a pick up service on public holidays?
The international couriers are happy to pick up your order during public holidays if arranged in advance. You may have to pay a small service charge though so contact your local sales representative for further information.
  • What documents do I need to send with my packages?
Different countries may require different import documents for different commodities. All non-document packages will require invoices. A commercial invoice is required for commercial goods and a Proforma invoice is needed for all non-commercial goods.
  • How can I open an account with Royale International?

Describe a time or situation in which you have provided value-added service to our customers, colleagues, department.
We had once a customer in St Albans, VIC who came to pick up a box coming from Hong kong. He was expecting something small enough to fit in his car and was very surprised to find out that the consignment was actually quite big. I was driving the company van home at that time and I suggested to bring it to him the following day which was a Saturday. The customer was very happy when I knocked on his door the following day. The good thing is that he was the father of my son’s best friend at school and we since then met a couple of times for School activities.


What are your favourite things or what do you like to do outside of work?
Going to the Gym, watching TV and going to Hungry Jack’s.
Playing with Milo (the Dog), listening to the radio... and going to Hungry Jack’s again!


What are your pet peeves or what annoys you outside work?
When the drink dispenser runs out of Coke at Hungry Jack's. How annoying is that after a huge spicy chicken burger?

Describe a time or situation in which you have provided value-added service to our customers, colleagues, department.
I hope that all staff in Australia, including myself, provide value-added services to customers and colleagues every day! Recently, for example, we have been assisting a large Melbourne client with their peak season sampling, ensuring that all their orders from China are collected with a dedicated van in China in order to make the required flight. Once retrieved in Melbourne we have them delivered immediately, thus providing the fastest transit available door to door. This helps the client sign off and prevents any delays with their production for the upcoming season.


What are your favourite things or what do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy turning off my Blackberry and travelling, either overseas or within Australia. I also like playing cricket (being English it’s good fun teasing Australians about how bad they are!) soccer and golf. I am also renovating my house, which takes up a lot of time!


What are your pet peeves or what annoys you outside work?
People in Australia can't drive very well, which annoys me! Other than that, anyone with a lack of common sense does my head in!


What is your favourite expression or quote/proverb?
I don’t really have one, but perhaps "when in Australia do what Australians do – leave work early and go to the pub!"
