International Logistics Working with the Olympic Games

The Olympic Games are just around the corner and while the world concentrates on the games business must continue as normal.  With the amount of visitors into London looking to skyrocket there are many restrictions which will be put into action which may affect some of the shipments heading into the city.

Tips on Filling in the International Courier Waybill Form

When filling in the Royale International Group Waybill there are some important details which must be included. These are the obvious details such as the account number which the shipment will be billed to and of course your company contact details including any reference number you may have and your address. There is also a section for the receiver details including the VAT/TVA/BTW/MWST number if applicable.

Once you have filled in the sender and receiver details you will need to add shipment details such as the number of packages which are included in the shipment, the weight and dimensions.  If you have any problems you can always contact the Royale International Group hotline on +852 2218 5888. 

On the international couriers waybill you can also add information such as any special instructions such as when the items are to be collected or if you would like the shipment held at the airport counter. You will also need to give a description of the commodities and a declaration of the value which must be the same as what is placed on the commercial invoice. Remember to tick the box to indicate who is responsible for any custom tax, especially if this will be the responsibility of the recipient.  If you leave the box un-ticked the sender is automatically held responsible for the payment.
