What are the KPI for an Agile Supply Chain?

Agile supply chain needs to have its own key performance indicators (KPI). The KPI’s used must be aligned with the top level business strategies and relate directly to the industry and product. However, focus should be placed on the responsiveness for getting products to market quickly and ensuring service quality is maintained.

Here are the most frequently used KPI for the agile supply chain:
  • Capacity synchronisation and optimisation
  • Cost to serve
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Delivery lead time
  • Frequency of product upgrades
  • Product availability in the market place
  • Production throughput
  • Service flexibility and innovation
  • Time from Design to market
The most common KPI used in the lean supply chain won’t work and if you don’t use specific agile supply chain KPI the results can be misleading.
